Elder Austin Whiting

Hello everyone It's been a busy busy week but we had some really cool things happen. Fun things for the week: -We had an exchange in Balti this week and the Balti elders are STUDS so we're super excited for the future there. -We are trying to kill slang in the zone and it's probably the hardest thing I've ever done but we as a companionship started a "slang jar" kind of like a swear jar but anytime we use slang we have to put a lei in the jar so it's serious now because I don't want to lose money haha. So that's been better than decent. We've actually been having tons of fun with it. -We had a couple new investigators this week from the area book so shout out to area books -It's getting cold now -My tag clip thing broke -That's pretty much it. Hey everyone It's been a really busy week trying to figure out transfers but I think I've finally gotten settled into the new apartment haha. We were told something different every day so it was fun stressing out about everything. It's also pretty great being back in Chisinau. I miss Balti tons but I'm in love with Moldova in general.  We had a lot of ups and downs this past week. The biggest up is that we had the chance to go to Kyiv again! Which means that we got to the temple again which was the best part. We were able to listen to the whole thing in Russian which was SO COOL. We also had MLC which was just a sweet meeting where we talked about the mission and what we can be doing better. We also got to eat at Pazata Hatta which is a way good Ukrianian resturant.  We spent most of the week figuring things out and preparing one of our investigators Alex for baptism.
