Elder Austin Whiting

It's been a very fun first week of the transfer We have this mission challenge to try and get 10 meaningful conversations per day per companion. And so we have been trying to go hard at it every day. It's hard but it's pretty fun. We spent most of the week just contacting so I don't have much news. We met some super cool families and so we're starting to work with them. We've been eating a lot of curry recently. I'll be going to Kiev this week. We had an elder and sister leave this week and 2 new ones came in so it's been fun with the transitions.  I found out how to say "shiver me timbers" in russian so that's cool.  Not much else... Hey  Not much time today but we had transfers this week and ya boi is staying here in MOLDOVA. I'm so happy. Also I'm staying with Elder Walch so it's gonna be fun. It's going to be our 5th transfer together and it will mean that I will have served in Chisinau for more than a year. Also me and Elder Walch are the last 2 left from the pусская шайка.  -We had exchanges with Balti this last week and we put their tags in jello for a lil hazing -We had zone conference this week and had our minds blown about the gathering and scattering of israel.  -We met the cutest fam sunday night and taught english and the restoration and it was so great. Hey everyone! It's been a really good week and it's crazy that the transfers almost over. My comp and I have been making jokes for the past 10 weeks that "it's gonna be a good transfer." But we're excited to see what will happen this next transfer. Everyone's fighting to stay in Moldova and so we'll see what goes on. Not a whole lot this week so I'll hit you up with highlights: -While walking in the store we ran into a guy we've seen a few times who speaks english and right when we was about to leave he gave us a salute, did a lil heel click and said "if you need a chef you know where to find me" -We found a star wars game at the church that we copped and took home. We'll probably give it back after we master it -We had an exchange with elder day and elder hamilton. I was with elder day and we had a good time. We contacted a bunch and it was rad I met some cool people.  -`I feel like time has accelerated at least times...
