So first off a big fat shoutout to my boy Elder Evaga for leaving to Korea today. Best wishes man! Also thank you so much to everyone for the b-day wishes I feel so blessed to know you all.

Nothing big happened this week but just a bunch of little funny stories so I'll fill you in on what went down. So this week was our break week for english so we had a lot of extra time so we did some BLOCK KNOCKING. oh man. I don't know why I love it so much but I think it's so fun haha. There is always something so weird or random or scary that happens everytime.

Block Knocking things:
-We ran into this guy and we said "hey we have a message about Jesus Christ if you would like to hear it"(or something like it) and then this guy just stares at us and then says "who killed hitler?" (???????) we were just like "uhhhhh" and then he went on this huge rant on how hitler was found in south america being held by the catholic church and how the titanic was actually a bomb and not an iceburg and the whole time my comp kept trying to say something along the lines of "how does this have to do with anything" but he said "it all connects" but yeah he was just out of his mind.
-We met another guy who we asked "hey can we tell you about the book of mormon" and he said "absolutely not" and then we said "well if you're interested we have a free english class" and then he literally yelled at us about how sacreligious it is to promote a class after talking about religion but we were just like ???? bro we're here to help people and this is one way we help people but he wasn't listening to us so we just agreed with him and left. BLOCK KNOCKING IS THE BEST.
-We taught an older lady about the book of mormon. Well my comp did I just petted her cat and listened haha.
-The elevators there were super sketchy and we felt like we were going to die so I insisted on riding the elevators every time.

Other interesting things this week:
-I have a problem with buying juice. I've bought so much juice in the past few weeks its so bad but at the same time its SO GOOD
-When we were headed back home Elder Griffeth started running and he was like "I HAVE TO CATCH THE BUS" and then he tripped and ate it so hard. right in front of the bus. The bus even gave him a little honk. We were dying.
-I was getting on a trolleybus and I was opening a little candy(side-note I've been eating tons of these little herbal candies that taste like cough drops but they're not and they're the best) so yeah I was opening it and the bus suddenly goes from 0-60 in 2.5 and I fall down on top of this lady through the railing and it was super embarrassing hahaha.
-I found this cream soda stuff that also tastes like lemonade and it's super good
-Apparently I'm now a soup person. I never thought I would like soup but soup and bread are so good to me now
-Elder Dumbrell taught an english class at this university and he basically just talked about australia the whole time so that was fun.
-We met some lds members from PORTUGAL....in MOLDOVA...... It was super cool. They said they thought there wasn't even a church here but we said nay behold here is the church. so that was cool.
-I saw probably the most drunk man of all time. He couldn't even stand without wobbling back and forth. Naturally he tried to talk to us but he had to grab onto me to even stay up. I was surprised he even was able to stay up it was so funny.

So yeah for my birthday it was a Sunday so we couldn't really go anywhere to eat but we made some pasta and had a little cake so that was sweet. Also one of the guys I met on the street met with us and now he's an investigator so that was a pretty cool b-day present. We also found out about daylight savings so we got an extra hour of sleep which was great. Other than that it was a pretty normal day. We ate at Andy's pizza the saturday night before and I got some good soup and breadsticks. But it was cool because I got to think about other people on my birthday and it was really cool to see the shift of selfishness.

For my spiritual thought: I know I already shared this scripture but it is so good that I can't help it. And plus it's redemption time for all you slackers who didn't read it the first time. READ ALMA 32. I was reading it this week and it hit me so hard about faith and humility. I learned that DILIGENCE + PATIENCE = GROWING FAITH. Too many times we get impatient or we don't even try when it comes to faith and we just expect to have faith. We can't have faith if we aren't trying. You have to believe even if it's just a little faith. Then that's when you begin to see more and you begin to see God's hand in your life. Be patient and be humble. Things will get better. I promise.

I love you all so much! (idk if I say that enough lol) but I really mean it.
