Elder Austin Whiting

Hey guys so it's been a pretty sweet week and first off I wanna give a shout out to literally everyone BECAUSE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND IM SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE. So yeah happy thanksgiving everybody. So the Godfrey's threw this big ol' thanksgiving feast for all of the Missionaries on Thursday. Okay and first off, I was assigned to make a salad and I was thinking "ayo this is finally my chance to show everyone that I'm not a terrible cook" so I pull out the Missionary cookbook and flip to the most gnarly looking salad to make and I'm like yeah this will be lit. Okay so yeah it took me 3 HOURS TO MAKE THIS DANG SALAD. It wasn't even that hard of a salad I'm just terrible. I put my blood, sweat, and a whole lot of tears into this salad with beans, rice, avacados, tomatoes,onions, and this lime chili dressing. It ended up being mediocre. Most would rate 6/10. ALRIGHT hey everyone how's it going? Everything here in Chisinau is super good thanks for asking. This week was crazy hard for me but also crazy awesome with some really cool miracles. So to explain the Korea thing.... A girl in the ward, her name is Nina, I've mentioned her a couple times but she got her Mission call this week and she has been dying to go to Korea so I guessed that she would go to Korea and what do you know. Korea Seoul Mission. Kinda bummed it's not the Seoul South mission to meet my boy Elder Tippetts but it's pretty sick that I now know people in almost every Korea mission.  내 한국인들에게 큰 소리로 외치다. (closest I could get to a shoutout)  Another super tight thing this week was that our investigator Arif now has a baptimal date for  Jan 6 !!!!!!!! We are super pumped for him. He's such a stud. FIRST I HAVE SOME MAJOR S/Os TO GIVE TO MY BOY BEAKY FRESH AND T-DAR'C HAPPY BIRTHDAY I LOVE YOU Okay okay so yeah another crazy fast week here in Chișinău. Also probably the greatest week of Missionary work for me and my boy Elder Solov'iov. We were on fire. Let's get to it.  Okay so this week started off with some good old English class which was a blast as usual. annnnnnd that's about it. This week doesn't have too many big things just a couple of interesting things so I'll get to that. Cool things this week: -We did some service for the mom of a kid in the ward and we moved some garbage out of a government building so I guess you could say I'M A MOLDOVAN GOVERNMENT  OFFICIAL NOW. OKAY so this week has been crazy & a lot has happened. Looking back it's been a long week but also the shortest week of my life. Weird. Funny how that works. Halloween was this week so it was a spoooky (with a ukrainian accent) day. Psych.  We didn't really do anything..Well we blew up some halloween balloons and we taught english. We gave out some candy so they were super hyped about that.  On Wednesday  me and elder dumbrell's companions went up to Balti so that they could get some passport stuff done. So the dynamic duo was back to it and I stayed at his apartment for the night. He made me some Australian stuff that morning and yes I have to admit it. I am now a fan of Vegemite. I know I know it's hard to believe. Well. I guess I'm no longer even an American. He also gave me some Milo which is just a type of hot coco. Overall a good morning.
