FIRST I HAVE SOME MAJOR S/Os TO GIVE TO MY BOY BEAKY FRESH AND T-DAR'C HAPPY BIRTHDAY I LOVE YOU

Okay okay so yeah another crazy fast week here in Chișinău. Also probably the greatest week of Missionary work for me and my boy Elder Solov'iov. We were on fire. Let's get to it.

Okay so this week started off with some good old English class which was a blast as usual. annnnnnd that's about it. This week doesn't have too many big things just a couple of interesting things so I'll get to that.

Cool things this week:
-We did some service for the mom of a kid in the ward and we moved some garbage out of a government building so I guess you could say I'M A MOLDOVAN GOVERNMENT  OFFICIAL NOW. But yeah it was cool to just see some soviet union style government building.
-I got hugged 3 times this week randomly:/ (super awkward as a missionary)
-I TALKED TO THE MOST HAMMERED MAN WHO LOOKED LIKE SHIA LEBEOUF and I kept asking if he knew who that was but no he was just hammered
-We met the coolest guy this week and he is super prepared for the gospel and he's already on 2 Nephi so we are just super happy for him
-I scored today in soccer which is a big accomplishment for me so thank you all for your support and prayers (but on the real so happy for your prayers they help a ton)
-Elder Godfrey (senior couple) taught me a saying a few weeks ago and I can't remember if I already put it but it's call TEMPEST FUGIT. and it's super cool and it basically means "time flies" so it's like every second you're doing something difficult is one less second that you have to do it. Just a cool lil saying.

So for my spiritual thought I read a poem this week that hit me really hard. So please read it:
I asked God for strength that I might achieve,
I was made weak that I might learn to humbly obey.
I asked for health, that I might do great things,
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life,
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for-but everything that I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoiled prayers were answered.
I among all men are most richly blessed.

I know that trials are so difficult and I know sometimes it's really hard to see the bigger picture. But I know that God does answer prayers and that He wants what is best for you. It's taken me awhile to realise it but the more I look back I'm so grateful for everything that I have gone through. I know that we do not govern God's time-table but that everything happens for a purpose and that it's for our own benefit. I am so incredibly grateful for you all and how much you have done for me. Just know that you've got Elder Whiting praying for ya and that all things will pass. Tempest Fugit. Love you all.
