Hey hey how's everyone doing? send me updates pls.  but it's been a pretty normal week.  My companion got a mad flu for the first few days of the week so we spent most of the day inside cleaning. It's funny because he got a flu shot and I didn't and yet the tables turned quite nicely. S/O to my immune system. He got sick right after he drank ice in his soda for the first time in a while so he (jokingly) blames in on that. (it's a weird european superstition thing that you'll get sick from ice in your drink). I haven't had ice in my drink since ... Also he ate tuna right before he recovered so just know that if you ever get sick that you can eat tuna and it might help. Also this week I found sALSA IN OUR LITTLE STORE. So I ate tuna with ritz crackers and salsa with tortilla chips. I'm now just a little bit trunky. Super cool though because I haven't eaten them in forever. The weather has been pretty warm recently so we haven't had much s...

Hello hello  It's been a fun week. We found out transfers this week and IM STAYING WITH ELDER WALCH. It's going to be a fun christmas. The more that time goes on the more I don't want to leave Moldova bc I love it too much haha. We went to Kiev this week for MLC and it was so fun. The Kumfermans are the greatest and we had a blast. The night before MLC we didn't know what to do so our natural moldovan missionary kicked in and we decided to go block knocking. We saw a bunch of nice blocks by the temple so we were like sweet let's do it. We somehow ended up getting into the gated area with no problem, picked a random block to knock, some guy walked out right as we were about to go in and then we went to the top floor to try it out. We knock on the first door, a lady opens and the first thing she says is "ITS THE MISSIONARIES" and then she let us in and fed us some mandarin oranges and gave us chocolate. Literally the one door we knock was a temple wor...

Hey everyone it's been a wild week It's probably been one of the funniest weeks ever and I'll give you all some highlights again: -We had exchanges with the assistants this week and it was a blast. We ended up contacting for like 5 hours and it was super cold but we had a good time.  -2 different people got locked inside of our bathroom this week. Our bathroom doorknob falls off all the time and so we thought it would be funny to pull off the doorknob on the inside and then they wouldn't be able to open it on the inside but we could open it on the outside. Well it backfired and it turns out you can't open it at all so they just get trapped inside. So this happened a couple times this week and it was pretty fun.  -I ate it on the ice this week and it was funny because I was holding eggs but I managed to save them -It was national service day on saturday for the church so we thought that it would be fun to buy some dish soap, bring our broom and knock some a...

Hey everyone it's been like 3 days so not much has gone down haha Some fun stuff from the past few days: -We found a lot of new investigators this past week (woo) -We made brownies for the members so that they'll love us -I can never not be disappointed while being a byu fan -the Carons are the greatest -We taught english -Christmas music is great -We've been eating an unusual amount of curry recently so now our apartment always has a hint of curry to it -I gave a talk on Sunday about taking upon ourselves the name of Christ Annnd I'll talk a little bit about that because as members of the Church of Jesus Christ it means that we have the opportunity to take the sacrament every week and renew our covenants which I'm SUPER grateful for. I also think that it's important to know that church is more like a hospital. The sacrament gives us a clean slate every week and it's a new opportunity to do a little better and become a little more Christl...

Hey guys Not much time but our pday got switched from monday to today so YOU ALREADY KNOW WE PLAYED TURKEY BOWL THIS MORNING It was one of the greatest things ever and so life is just grand.  We had a couple exchanges over the past couple weeks and it was pretty fun. I got to go to Orhei for the first time and it's a cute little town. We got to visit some members and they were really fun. One drunk guy on the street was like (in romanian so elder meek translated for me) "hey your friend is such a beautiful boy he looks like a fox" so I guess I'm a fox now. I bought a retro moldova track suit so now I'm going to be a gopnik. If you don't know what a gopnik is you can go look it up. It's basically a russian gangster.  Other than that it's been the usual missionary grind and we are seeing tons of potential.  I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR SO MANY THINGS BUT I LOVE MY FAMILY AND MY FRIENDS. If you're reading this then just know #1- it's too late ...
