WILD WEEK. okay so a ton happened this week. annnnnnnd I will definitely forget. let's get it.

So big thing that happened this week was transfers! I will be staying here in Chisinau but I am now in a trio with my boys from the MTC Elder Martindale and Elder Walch!!! (shoutout elder dumbrell who is in balti, much love much love). Me and Elder Martindale have been out the same time and Elder Walch is a transfer behind us so we're just a bunch of newbies that will be killing it here in Chisinau. 

Because it is the new year it officially means I'm in the Black Year. Which means it is the full year that you are out on the Mission. But that sounds kinda depressing so I need a new name for it. Leave a comment below on what you think, all suggestions will be acknowledged and considered. So far I can only think of the Whiting year but that's a bit cheesy. 

Speaking of new years people here go crazy. Fireworks go off literally all the time and pretty much everyone is drunk. So that means that right now the city feels like a ghost town it's pretty creepy haha. 

I went on an exchange with Elder Griffeth this week and it was sweet because we worked super hard and met all of our goals.

Something kinda weird is that they celebrate 2 Christmases here, one on the 25th and one on the 7th of january so christmas is still going hard here which is weird because I still hear christmas music and the christmas lights are still everywhere. Whack.

I had to say goodbye to some homies this week. Elder Krylborn(my favorite swede) left to Bucharest to be a ZL there:'( and also Elder Kramer is leaving for Romania today so that's really sad too, Elder Kramers been a legend here and he's a super good example for how we should be as missionaries.

I found this one guy from the country Jordan this week and we were able to teach him about the restoration. This guy grew up muslim and his perception of Jesus Christ was just that we was a good guy but Elder Martindale bore a powerful testimony of Jesus Christ and that he was the Son of God. He took it super well and we're planning on meeting him this week. I LOVE MISSIONARY WORK.

That's about all that I remember but I love you all and I hope you have the best year yet. 2018 will be as bright as your faith. Let's have a challenge to read our scriptures and say our prayers every day this year. I think that will make our lives that much more brighter. Much love.

-For my Christmas dinner I thought that I would just go hard at KFC so I bought almost a kilo of fried chicken for myself (it was recommended for 4 people) and I ate almost all of it. Not sure whether to be proud of that or not. Either way merry christmas.

Hey everyone  Oh man it's been a fun week. Also we contacted pretty much all day every day but for some reason it was really fun? Also Elder Day got wrecked with a stomach bug and we've started to get colds but we've still been going out and getting work done.  We actually had people come to church this sunday! So that was sweet. Church is nice. I got to translate @ church and man my translating is so trash haha. It's really fun though. Something cool that happened is we prayed really hard to find a less-active member one day and we went out to some addresses to find them and on our way we stopped a guy and tried to talk to him and he was like "oh yeah i actually used to go to your church" and then we found out more and it turns out he was baptized a while ago and even had the priesthood at some point so that was so cool and we invited him to come back to church. Hey everyone This week absolutely flew so I'm not sure how I'm going to remember anything that happened but I'll try my best. We got our new companion this week Elder Larson and it's already been a party. He brought his guitar with him so I've been a happy boy. He also brought with him a wrecked shoulder so that's sad. He's a great hard-working elder though and so we've been getting work done.  Here are some things from the week that I remember: -We've been contacting a lot and it's been kind of rough but we've been pushing through the rejection and relying on Christ -I've started to live up to my nickname because I've been pounding toast for the past week. 2 Countries 2 Missions 2 Mission Presidents 3 Areas 3 Languages 9 Companions Hundreds of lessons taught Hundreds of hours of contacting 2 Years As I'm writing this it still doesn't feel totally real and so it's a really strange feeling coming to the end.
