:'(
Transfers were this week so yes I had to say goodbye to the promised land of balti. But on the bright side I am in the other promised land of Chisinau again and it feels really good to be back. I'm back in the apartment that I was born in and so it's all so nostalgic. I'm also serving with Elder Volkov! And in Russian his last name translates to "of the wolves" and if that's not the sickest thing ever then I don't know what is. He's from Ukraine/Russia and we're pumped to be serving together.

There's been a bunch of changes this week because of transfers, we got called tuesday and the russians moved early because a new russian came in (elder Lindsay) and he's pretty cool, he's a шкаф. We were waiting for the 2 elders to get to balti so that me and another elder could leave but apparently they got stopped at the border and spent time in a mini cell for a lil bit. fun fun. So we waited all day for them and they showed up late at night.

So they actually celebrate Easter here a different week because they celebrate orthodox easter so basically easter was yesterday which is kind of weird. Moldovans celebrate easter pretty normally. They go to church, hang out with their families, and get super hammered. So pretty much every other holiday here. There's a sweet tradition here where you greet people on easter with "jesus is resurrected" and you reply with "he is truly resurrected." I wish we had something like this back home because it's pretty cool.

Now that I'm back in Chisinau I forgot how many youth are here and it's crazy because I went from all old people to all young people. Also tons of people here speak romanian here and get mad at you if you speak russian so that's fun. Guess I have to learn romanian now))

Other things this week:
-We ate an amazing easter dinner(shouts out mom) and we ate some steak and sushi.
-I talked to this guy from portugal that was getting followed around by a crazy lady who kept telling him he was "beautiful thomas" and he's like "my name isn't even thomas it's raphael" and he was hilarous.
-This week we had a challenge to see how many times we could show our Easter video for each companionship and we basically smashed the record with 30 in an hour. We did the competition again and we got 35 the next time so we're basically the best.

I was thinking about it this week and Easter really is the most important holiday that we celebrate. I know that Easter is already super done for you guys but we should honestly always keep in mind the resurrection and Atonement of Jesus Christ. I loved Elder Uctdorfs talk this last conference. If we truly Behold the Man then we will be begin to see changes if in our lives that we never thought possible. I'm so grateful for this gospel and I love the fact that we all will be resurrected someday because of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Love you all, (for some reason my email won't let me scroll so I can't see what I'm typing right now, forgive the mistakes))
