Heyo Well. Honestly I don't have much to say from this past week. But hopefully I'll remember something while I write lol. So this last tuesday we contacted our FIRST referral. yee yee. It was some guy who lived out in a small town called Edinet. It's about 45 minutes-1 hour away from Balti. We took a lovely marshutka there and idk why but I have this thing whenever I'm in a car/plane/any vehicle I fall asleep so fast so I pretty much was just out the whole time. But we kept getting lost so we would ask these random people to help us out and they were super nice and took us around the whole town. Fun fun. We finally found the guy and he wasn't really interested in learning more he just wanted a book of mormon but it was still super cool and who knows? maybe there is something more in store that we don't know about. also we got to contact our first referral which is cool. Hey hey happy america day everyone. I would say that ever since I left the US I've become like 10x more patriotic which is weird. I think I might kill my aussie comp. He always does this cute thing where he says "get 'err done" in an american accent to make fun of all americans. It's okay bc it only hurts a lil bit. Also I hit my year mark this week. It hit me so hard the other day that in a year I'll be home. Well it's been one crazy year and I'm super pumped for what's to come, especially with this new mission. Also I'm not sure if I mentioned this last week but we heard that we get to visit the temple 4 times a year so I'm super excited for that. Saturday  was a pretty sad day for all of us. Hello everyone So first off, I straight up love Balti and all of the Elders here are studs so I've been in heaven. We've been putting in some work and we've been speaking a ton of Russian and I love it. Also I've been laughing my head off with these goons here. Also Balti right now has a ton of good stuff happening right now. There's a super cool investigator getting baptized this saturday so we're super super happy for her. Not much has changed in Balti since I was last here. It's always a weird change from Chisinau to Balti because everyone in Chisinau is always so busy and Balti is so calm and everyone is good to meet whenever. Plus it's summer so the work is automatically better. Still lots of old people. We've been buying wayy too much ice cream as a companionship this week but we can't help it when you have sorbet ice cream sticks for 4 lei (25 cents).
