Hello everyone
So first off, I straight up love Balti and all of the Elders here are studs so I've been in heaven. We've been putting in some work and we've been speaking a ton of Russian and I love it. Also I've been laughing my head off with these goons here. Also Balti right now has a ton of good stuff happening right now. There's a super cool investigator getting baptized this saturday so we're super super happy for her.
Not much has changed in Balti since I was last here. It's always a weird change from Chisinau to Balti because everyone in Chisinau is always so busy and Balti is so calm and everyone is good to meet whenever. Plus it's summer so the work is automatically better. Still lots of old people.
We've been buying wayy too much ice cream as a companionship this week but we can't help it when you have sorbet ice cream sticks for 4 lei (25 cents). Also this new apartment has a toaster and I have to say that 1) I think I'm starting to live up to my nickname because I've been eating a ton of toast lately and 2) I took toasters for granted bc shoot you have have cooked bread in like 2 seconds how cool is that. Also dryers. I took dryers for granted. Enjoy soft clothes all of you back home.
We've seen lots of little miracles here and there and so we're having a lot of potential here it's awesome. We have some investigators who ARE SO READY FOR BAPTISM but they don't see it yet so we have been praying super hard for them. I love missionary work.
We are officially in the Ukraine Kyiv Mission. Wildin. My original mission no longer exists. But I'm super excited to see what this new mission and this new year has in store for me. It's been an amazing ride so far.
Alright so here's a scripture of the week: Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
One of the great things about being a missionary is that I've never really been scared since I've been here. And I know it's because we have an important message to share with the world. I love teaching because the Spirit can be so strong and I feel immense love for the people that I'm serving. I know that we have no reason to fear when we have God on our side.
Love you cuties
