We headed down to Chisinau today and there was a girl wearing a shirt wearing "this girl loves Jesus" and so it was the first thing I could think of for the subject title. I'm pretty sure a missionary tag pretty much means the same thing though.
Anyways how is everyone
Balti is just great thanks for asking

We thought that transfers were going to be this next saturday but we found out last week that we were misinformed and that it was actually last saturday soooooooo your boi Elder Whiting is staying in Balti! Sadly they couldn't keep the dynamic duo together for too long so I've got a new comp named Elder Day and he's a young buck from the wonderful state of Georgia. He's really good at wrestling and he's a cutie. I'm super pumped. Sadly Elder Dumbrell and Elder Walch are leaving Balti but it's okay because Elder Martindale and Day are coming in so it'll be a blast.
Elder Dumbrell has been serving in Balti for the past 9 ish months now and so this past week has been full of goodbyes and tears.

It's been a pretty normal/busy week. We hold a lot of activities here to keep everything active here so it's been great. We've had a lot of lessons over the past week so it's great just being able to help others grow spiritually.

I've had a recent obsession with listening to conference talks and byu speeches. I've developed a greater love for Elder Holland which I didn't even know was possible. Also probably one of the coolest talks I've ever heard is called "His grace is sufficient" by Brad Wilcox. LISTEN TO IT. I'm dead serious it's so good. My challenge for all of you reading this right now is to listen to that talk during the week.

Interesting things from the week:
-Elder Lindsey bought a guitar and taught me how to play "dirty paws" by monsters and men and I'm so happy
-I'm now the district leader and secretary so let's just hope I don't mess things up haha
-There's this member that we've been working with for awhile now and she's been coming to church a lot more recently and she even asked the branch president to give a talk! So we've been super super happy about that.
-The branch president here in Balti is literally the cutest old man and yesterday he bore his tesimony for like 30 minutes and elder dumbrell and walch didn't even get to give their final testimonies. haha I love President Reshetko so much.
-The lights stopped working in the church so we've been teaching English in the dark.
-Lots of people came to church this past week and it was just great because the Spirit was super strong.
-My boi Elder Griffeth left Moldova today so RIP 2 a legend in the mission. He's literally my role model as a missionary.
-Our investigators are doing great. We made cookies for the mom of one of our investigators and she ended up crying so it looks like I'm not as bad of a cook that I thought I was.

We have a lot of things looking up and I'm just super grateful to be a missionary. Yesterday we were sharing with some members in the branch what our favorite verses in the Book of Mormon are and I've never really thought about it before but I think it's Ether 12:27:
And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
I love this scripture because I know that through Jesus Christ we can make weak things become strong. It's simple but it's true. Love you guys!
