Hey everyone
I'm HYPED for General Conference this week. On a mission I've learned to appreciate the messages from the prophets and apostles and so I'm super excited for this week.

In other news this was honestly a pretty rough week for us. We had no investigators come to church and we lost our only baptismal date and so I've been pretty down. But I've been working through it and I'm just trying to put in all the effort that I can, it can be discouraging at times but I know I'm here for a reason and that this is a marvelous work and a wonder. Sometimes you have to be let down in order to be pulled back higher than you were before.

We went to Chisinau this week to have an exchange with the Zone Leaders and it was fun going back and seeing everyone. We had a pretty eventful exchange. The night we came in we had an exchange with 2 of their investigators who are originally from Turkey but moved to Moldova. A father and son. The son speaks english and so we taught the son in english and he translated for his dad in turkish. The dad has a baptismal date and it was just super cool to see how prepared they are for the gospel. We also ate lunch with this french man named Adrian. He met the missionaries in Moldova but went back to France and was baptized there and he's an awesome guy so it was fun meeting with him. Then we had a lesson later in the day with a member named Petru (Peter) and Elder Smith taught him in Romanian and I taught him in Russian so I only understoof about 50% of the lesson which was fun to be in on. We had a good time.

Back in Balti we've been trying to spark things up here but we've really seen some great things with members and we're working hard.

I think it's cool that when I think about the gospel I think about light. Light as in sunlight but also like the lifting of a burden. I believe that Christ is both of those for us. He shines the way before us and He lifts our heavy burdens. He truly is the light of the world and He can help you become someone that you never thought you could. I seriously love this Gospel with all my heart.

Love you all
