This week was a whole lot better than last week. The beginning of the week was still the same, we got 'bunged' (when they don't show up for the lesson) about 7 more times in a couple days. So leaving our final count for the week 19 times  in 8 days . woohoo. jk it was the worst. But as the Russians say, жизнь такая. But  wednesday  was successful because we were 4/4 on lessons. We taught 3 different Igors that day haha. Literally everyone has the same name here. We did a bunch of member work this week so you already know I've got some fun stories.  We had a lesson with Alexei(with the baptismal date) and he had a ton of really hard questions and was pretty intense. We went over the baptismal interview questions and he realised there's a lot more he needs before he's ready for baptism so we moved his date back to the  10th of february . It was a much needed lesson so that was really cool.  Other than that there wasn't anything really big that happene...

SO probably one of the most whack weeks here on the Mish. We set a new record for the most lessons to not happen.... We had 12 lessons fall through  in 5 days . WHY ARE RUSSIANS SO FLAKY. But I guess it's okay because I still love them and have the gift of charity and whatnot. (legit these people are great though)  Because all of our investigators decided to do other things this week we didn't have much happen. We had a couple of english classes, did a bunch of contacting, and had some lessons with some recent converts here. Our investigator Alex, with the baptismal date, left to Romania this week so we're praying for him to find the Romanian Elders and to continue to meet with him. We gave him all of the information of the church in Romania to him and so we're hoping things will work out. We still feel like our other investigator Alexei isn't quite ready for baptism so we're going to continue to work with him to really be prepared. Important note: you canno...

First and foremost there was a BAPTISM THIS WEEK HEEYAW LETS GET IT BABY. Our investigator Arif is officially a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was such a spiritual day and I was just so happy for him the whole time. He bore his testimony at the end and it was super special, he said that when he was 6 years old a homeless man had come to his house and asked for help like some food or money. Arif was only little but he helped this man out and gave him some food and money and send him on his way. He said that at that time he knew that he wanted to be doing good for other people and make the right decisions and that he knows that the decision to be baptised was the right one. He is such a stud. I also had the amazing opportunity to confirm him a member of the church and help him receive the gift of the holy ghost. I was super nervous the whole week because it's in Russian but it ended up being really good and the Spirit was just super super strong. 2018 ...
